A Massachusetts couple must have thought the sky was falling earlier this month. The Associated Press reported that the couple heard an explosion and at first thought their house had been hit by lightning. They checked on their children (who were still asleep despite the noise), and then ran outside to investigate. They found a hole up to two feet in diameter in their roof. They then went to the attic and found 10 pounds of ice.
It is possible that the ice fell from a plane that was traveling into nearby Logan Airport in Boston. The FAA is investigating. No word from them as to if an alien spacecraft might also be under suspicion.
